At last, this Kannada speaking famous actress in Tamil and national award winner, Priyamani has signed a Kannada film ‘Ram’ opposite power star and non stop successful hero from 10 films, Puneeth Rajakumar.

Meanwhile Priyamani is working in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ravan’ and she has signed the first popular character name bearing of the Ramanayana - ‘Ram’ in Kannada that is a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Ready’.

Priyamani who hails from Bangalore missed a few Kannada films will come to the sets after finishing her schedule in ‘Ravan’ for Aditya Babu production ‘Ram’ that has already completed 10 days schedule in the direction of Madesh who gave the super hit film ‘Gaja’ last year. AV Krishnakumar handles the camera and V. Harikrishna scores the music for ‘Ram’.

Puneeth Rajakumar, the hero with solid status in the box office of Kannada cinema has a film ‘Raj-The Showman’ that is releasing on his iconic father Dr. Rajakumar’s birth anniversary on April 24th, 2009.
