Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas recently welcomed their first baby via surrogacy. The couple took to their respective social media handles to announce the same and received innumerable congratulatory messages.
Meanwhile, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra recently made an appearance with her son Siddharth Chopra for their clinic’s 14th anniversary, where she expressed her joy of becoming a grandmother. “I was so happy to become a grandmother. I am only smiling all the time. I’m very happy,” Madhu Chopra reportedly said. When she was further asked if Priyanka and Nick had named the baby yet, she said, “We haven’t finalised it yet. When the priest gives us the name, then it will happen. Not now.”
Nick and Priyanka took to their Instagram handles in late January to share the news. They wrote, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on the family. Thank you so much.”
