Priyanka Chopra on playing a sexual predator in 'Aitraaz'

During the initial phase of her career, actress Priyanka Chopra played a huge gamble by choosing to portary a villainous character in the film 'Aitraaz' and that too, of a sexual predator. However, the gamble paid off and Priyanka's performance was widely appreciated by fans and critics.
In a recent interview for Vanity Fair, Priynaka got nostalgic and talked about this very unique and bold film of her career. She said, At that time, big heroines who’d be in the mainstream commercial movies, had to be a lot more coy, pure, good girls. Versus my character in Aitraaz, who was a bad b**ch. At that time, it was a lot.”
The actress further added, Because my character was a sexual predator, and I was 21 or 22, and people were like, ‘If you play such a sexually charged character, I don’t know if your audience will be able to see you as the dream girl’.” On the work front, Priynaka has bunch of Hollywood projects like 'Citadel' and 'Text For You' coming up. Apart from them, she'll also be a part of Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zara'.
