Priyanka Chopra to play controversial character next!

Popular Bollywood star and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra will play the role of Ma Anand Sheela in an upcoming movie titled Sheela which will be produced Amazon Studios as reported in US media.

There were confusions over whether Priyanka will act in this movie revolving around the lives of Osho and Ma Anand Sheela but now reportedly the movie has been confirmed. Sheela will be directed by Barry Levinson.

Priyanka will be co-producing the show in her Purple Pebble banner.Ma Anand Sheela turned popular with the Netflix series Wild Wild Country which presented the lives of Indian spiritual guru Bhagwan Rajneesh aka Osho, his assistant Ma Anand Sheela and their followers.
