Priyanka faces backlash after marriage festivities

Soon after the Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas marriage in Jodhpur the other day, do you know what happened? Ten truckloads of fireworks were burst outside the marriage venue, a palace. Why should this be news? This is called a fat wedding and why make a hue and cry?
But it's not that simple. Crackers cause pollution and Priyanka Chopra recently had urged everyone to burst them sparingly during Diwali. Less pollution, please, she said. You can have more laddoos as a compensation, she suggested.
When it came to her own marriage, however, the celebrity didn't replace fireworks with laddoos.
