Actress Anjali had sought the help of governmental justice to resolve the issue between her and her step-mother and director Kalanjiyam. Her verdict was that the two had looted all her money and that they were threatening the actress. However, director Kalanjiyam says that the charges are baseless. I directed Anjali's first film, and I know her family at a personal level. They usually seek my advice as a well-wisher, before signing any project.
