Producer bags 'Metro' remake rights

A few days ago, we reported that a couple of producers are vying for the remake rights of the Tamil film Metro. Released on June 24, this one an action thriller directed by Ananda Krishnan. Metro has become a hit of sorts in Tamil Nadu.

The news is that Ram Tulluri, who is producing Chuttalabbayi at the moment, has bagged the remake rights. He is all set to produce the film with a young hero.

Metro tells the story of a journalist who, in his endeavour to avenge the death of his mother due to a chain snatcher, comes to know of some dark secrets int he process.
