Producer condemns rumour over Vijay Deverakonda's film with Sukumar

Producer Kedar Selagamsetty of Falcon Creations in 2020 announced that he will be bankrolling a film with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero and Sukumar as the director. Many months on, nothing has been heard about the film. Amidst this, a rumour recently went out that the project has been shelved.
On Monday, the producer himself issued a firm statement, saying that the project is very much on. He said that there is no truth in the rumour that Vijay Deverakonda's film has been dropped.
“The project shall start as planned. Don't give into false propaganda. There is no change in the plan. The film is only going to get bigger, the statement says.
For now, VD is busy with Puri Jagannadh's 'Liger', which has been facing roadblocks because of the pandemic. As for Sukumar, he is directing 'Pushpa', starring Allu Arjun in the lead. Both films are scheduled to release this year.
