Yesterday, director Vetrimaaran celebrated his birthday and social media was filled with tribute posts and wishes for the acclaimed maker who has won national awards for his exemplary movies in varied genres.

Now, popular producer Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment has confirmed Vetrimaaran's new movie on Twitter. When a netizen questioned if he's producing a new movie with Dhanush and directed by Vetrimaaran, the producer responded with a yes, officially confirming the project which had been reported by us earlier.

This movie will be the fifth from Dhanush - Vetrimaaran combo after Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Vada Chennai and Asuran and it must be noted that Vetrimaaran is also directing a movie with Soori which is also produced by Elred Kumar.
