Producer issues clarification on '2.0' release date

When unverified rumours did the rounds in June-July about Rajinikanth's mega-budgeted '2.0' getting postponed to April 2018, Raju Mahalingam of Lyca Productions had issued a clarification in the first week of July that the film is very much on the track. He refuted the gossips in clear terms.
Despite that, grapevine has been working overtime in spreading the lie that '2.0' will be ready only by next Summer.
In the wake of such undying rumours, Raju has once again come up with an official statement. The film will very much hit the screens on Jan 25.
Currently, VFX works are going on.
