Producer Pokuri Rama Rao dies due to Covid-19: Reports

Telugu film producer Pokuri Rama Rao on Saturday breathed his last at Hyderabad's Manikonda. The cause of his death is yet to be medically established. However, at least two media reports so far have attributed it to Covid-19. While a few media reports are attributing Rama Rao's death to a massive cardiac arrest, latest reports are claiming that he succumbed to Covid-19.
After he recently contracted coronavirus, Rama Rao was admitted to Continental Hospital in Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment. With the health condition deteriorating in the last few days, he breathed his last today, a report says.
His brother, Pokuri Babu Rao, is also a film producer and has bankrolled several movies under Eetaram banner.
