Producer Thanu Reveals Powerful 25-Minute Segment in Suriya-Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vaadivasal’

The long-awaited collaboration between Suriya and director Vetrimaaran for the film ‘Vaadivasal’, produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and with music by G.V. Prakash, was announced several years ago. However, the project is finally gaining momentum.

Composer G.V. Prakash recently revealed that he has completed recording a song for the film. Now, producer Thanu has offered a major update, confirming that shooting will officially begin in July and proceed at a brisk pace thereafter.

Thanu shared his excitement, saying he was blown away by the song that has already been recorded—so much so that he’s curious to find out who penned the lyrics.

In a recent conversation with Vetrimaaran, Thanu revealed that the director described a 25-minute stretch in the film as its major highlight. According to him, those scenes will offer a unique and powerful cinematic experience for audiences, and the screenplay is shaping up to be exceptional.

With expectations already high, this update suggests that ‘Vaadivasal’ could be a landmark film in both Suriya and Vetrimaaran’s careers.

Currently, Suriya is wrapping up work on a film directed by RJ Balaji and is expected to begin shooting ‘Vaadivasal’ shortly after.
