Producer Venu Donnepudi has announced a new project on the occasion of Srirama Navami. Under the production house Chitralayam Studios, they announced a film titled Ramam. The makers also have the caption, The Rise of Akira. A young Telugu director will be seen as the protagonist in the film.

According to the makers, the movie is all about the journey of Lord Rama, who fought a war to establish dharma, exemplifying his path as an ideal for the world. The film centers around a heroic figure—a great warrior whose story is yet to be told on the Indian silver screen.

Venu Donepudi is introducing Lokamanya, a young and dynamic director who has collaborated with several prominent directors, as the director of this film. The film will be made on a pan-India appeal.
