Producers come to Vikram's rescue

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,January 25 2012]

Producers of Vikram's forthcoming film 'Karikalan', S Parthiban and S S Vasan, have said that the actor was in no way connected with the script of the movie, which has been claimed as his by Porur-based Rajasekaran.

In a statement, the producers said, It is understandable when cases are filed against the producer and the director. But, involving an actor in such a case is unfair. He is not part of both the script and title registration process.

They further said: Dragging Vikram's name in this issue has caused mental agony for the actor. It brings down his reputation and we are consulting our lawyers about filing a defamation suit. In addition, we would also like to convey that we would legally fight the case to prove that Rajasekaran's claim was false.

Claiming that they have necessary documents to prove that the script was original, Vasan and Parthiban said they have the approval of title and registered the story with the bodies concerned. We are hopeful to start the shooting soon after clearing all the hurdles, they added.

Sadly enough, the word of many words did not elaborate on why he felt so. All that he seemed to submit was that Mahesh does things in his own way without caring for what others think or feel about him.

No growth for heroes who dominate directors: Dasari

Speaking at the Hexa Platinum and success meet of Businessman, Dasari made a compelling point. Those who don’t respect their directors and try to dominate them, will not grow in the industry. Without going into guessing who (all) he might have referred indirectly in saying this, one must appreciate the veteran for making a valid point.
