Producers council important announcement about the release of stalled movies

The recent strike of Tamil Film Producers Council against the government’s levy of entertainment tax had the release of new movies stalled in the state. Films like ‘Solo’, ‘Vizhithiru’ were also taken off their release schedules owing to the strike.

Now those films can breathe a sigh of relief as the producers council has directed the movies that were scheduled for October 6 to be released in the coming November 3.

The producers council has stated that those films which adhered to the council’s strike norms will alone be released on Novemer 3 and also requested the support of the film fraternity in this regards.
