Producers to blame

Actor Sarath Kumar has pointed fingers on producers for the artistes hiking their salary.
Speaking at the audio launch of producer-director K Rajan's Unarchigal, Sarath said, 'once an actor renders a hit, scores of producers crowd to get his or her dates paying a huge sum.'
This competitive bidding of sorts jacks up the salary, he explained.
Stressing for unity among all film associations, Sarath Kumar indicating a strained relationship between Nadigar Sangam and Producers Council, said, 'a solution would be found out soon after discussions with the film producers'.
