Production Company Accuses Dhanush and RK Selvamani – Demands Justice

A statement issued by Five Star Creations LLP has sparked controversy, alleging that actor Dhanush failed to fulfill a commitment despite receiving an advance payment six years ago. The production company has also accused filmmaker RK Selvamani of interfering in their plea for justice.

In the statement, addressed to RK Selvamani, Five Star Creations expressed frustration over Dhanush not providing call sheet dates despite taking an advance. The company stated that during a meeting at the Film Producers’ Council, their concerns were raised, but Selvamani allegedly prioritized another project, Idli Kadai, produced by DAWN Pictures.

The company further accused Selvamani of political interference, claiming that his actions have delayed justice for producers who invest heavily in films. They also reminded the council that Five Star Creations had previously produced successful films like Polladhavan and Aadukalam with Dhanush.

The statement urged the Tamil Film Producers’ Association to protect the interests of producers and ensure fair treatment. They emphasized that producers do not pay actors in advance for financial gain but to secure projects, and they demanded swift resolution.

With tensions rising, responses from Dhanush and RK Selvamani are now eagerly awaited.
