Proud of Charmme; Puri is gem

Deep Singh Uppal, father of actress Charmme, has said that his daughter hardly has time for stupid rumours. It's known that she has been named in the drugs scandal.

"My daughter has been working since the age of 13. She wouldn't have had this longevity and an amazing career if she were someone who would get involved in illegal activities. It is her hard work and dedication which has brought her this far," the father has said, saying that he is proud of Charmme.

"She is taking care of our entire family ever since she started working and is still a strong pillar for us. We are strong enough to deal with fake speculations. However, my wife is very disturbed. She is heartbroken and her health has gone worse," Singh has said.

"My humble request to media is to think about their families before making such wrong allegations. I wanted to make it clear yet again that Charmme is not into all this and I can proudly say that I brought up my kid well," he noted.

"Charmme is focussing on her business venture, Puri Connects, and is busy shaping up the ongoing project 'Paisaa Vasool'. And I am also a dear friend of Puri Sir. He is completely immersed in his work 24/7. He is a gem of a person and I am sure he is not involved in this in any way," he said.
