Proud of Shekar Kammulas Journey in Cinema: Chiranjeevi

The socio-political thriller Kuberaa, starring National Award-winning Kollywood actor Dhanush, Tollywood veteran Nagarjuna, and popular actress Rashmika Mandanna, is continuing its strong run at the box office. The film has reportedly crossed the ₹50 crore mark and is poised for an even bigger week globally.

To celebrate the film’s resounding success, the makers hosted a grand event on Sunday evening, graced by none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi praised director Sekhar Kammula for his bold casting choices and vision.

“The very first success of Kuberaa was Shekar Kammula choosing Nagarjuna for the role of Deepak, and Nag accepting it,” Chiranjeevi remarked. He also shared how he was stunned by Dhanush’s transformation for a particular scene. “I couldn’t recognize Dhanush in his beggar avatar. That’s how impactful his performance was.”

The Megastar lauded Shekar Kammula’s consistent dedication to meaningful cinema. “Though he has made only ten films over 25 years, each one of them has left a lasting impact. His films always reflect reality, and I’m truly proud of his journey,” he concluded.

With positive word of mouth and a growing fan base, Kuberaa continues to dominate screens both in India and abroad.
