Dhanush and Selvaraghavan are one of the most successful siblings combo's in Indian cinema that has delivered the blockbuster hits 'Thulluvadho Ilamai', 'Kadhal Kondein', 'Pudhupettai' and 'Mayakkam Enna'.  Among these fans even to this day are hungry for the sequel of the cult classic 'Pudhupettai' and they almost on a day to day basis pose the question as to when the project would materialize.

Selva and D have meanwhile started shooting for a new movie 'Naane Varuven' produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu which is said to be a never-before-seen romantic thriller.  The ace director has revealed that after this project he will begin shooting for 'Pudhupettai 2' with Dhanush and that's his surprise plan to bring the millions of fans dream to come true.

It has already been announced that Dhanush is the hero of 'Aayirathil Oruvan 2' directed by his brother which is set to release in 2024.  So in between this magnum opus and 'Naane Varuven' the talented siblings are going to give their fans a massive treat with 'Pudhupettai 2'.  Stay tuned for more updates on this exhilarating buzz.
