Date fixed for Arya, Vijay Sethupathi

The shoot of 'Purampokku', which has Vijay Sethupathi, Arya and Shaam in lead roles, has come to an end. Plans are on to release the movie on May 1, International Labourers Day (and AJith's birthday too).

Directed by S P Jhananathan, known for revolutionary themes in 'Ee' and 'Peraanmai', 'Purampokku' is said to be a socio-economic thriller. Some crucial parts have been shot inside a prison set.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, 'Purampokku' has Karthika Nair of 'Ko' fame in a key role. "She had to perform stunts too and she did it after getting proper training," sources said.
