Puri says he gave no statement

Puri Jagannadh has been quoted saying that media is not daring to name some of the big names who have been slapped with notices with respect to the drug scandal.

However, the director has denied saying anything of that sort. "I have not given any statement regarding anything and anyone till now. I am very busy completing my film 'Paisa Vasool'," he has tweeted.

There are confusing signals regarding whether he actually has been issued notice to submit to an enquiry later this month. Some well-placed sources have it that he is not under investigation. Puri, many believe, has done no wrong.
