Music composer Thaman has clarified his involvement in the musical work for the film "Pushpa 2". While the songs for the movie were composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the background score was handled by Sam CS, there had also been speculation about Thaman’s contribution.
Addressing the matter, Thaman stated, “I worked for 10 days on 'Pushpa 2' and provided three background score samples. The team liked my work. However, the final decision rested with the director, who chose Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS instead.”
Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa 2" stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in leading roles. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, became a huge commercial success, earning around ₹1,800 crore at the box office.
