'Pushpa' creates a sensation in Bollywood

'Pushpa: The Rise' has been truly living up to the spirit of its title at the Hindi box office. It has been rising and rising in the North Indian market, trumping Ranveer Singh's '83' comfortably in the third weekend.
The figures are super encouraging. We learn that the Allu Arjun-starrer has crossed a higher figure in the 3rd weekend compared to the first one. The Sukumar directorial mopped up Rs 6.25 Cr (Nett) on Sunday (Jan 2).
On Monday, which was the 18th day at the box office for 'Puhspa', the movie made Rs 2.60 Cr, while '83' made Rs 1.80 Cr on its 11th day.
The film's cumulative figure now stands at Rs. 62.94 Cr in Hindi. The number proves beyond doubt that Bunny is now a pan-India star.
It has been possible despite the restrictions imposed in several States due to the pandemic. The film has grossed Rs 300 Cr (all languages) already worldwide.
