Actor R. Madhavan has officially signed on for a major role in the upcoming Tamil film 'Benz', directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The film's first schedule of shooting recently wrapped up in Chennai, and the team is now preparing for the next phase of production. 'Benz' is being co-produced by Passion Studios, Zee Studios, and The Root.

The film has also been confirmed as part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU)

Now, new additions to the cast include Madhavan, Madonna Sebastian, and Priyanka Mohan. Madonna is returning to the LCU after playing Vijay’s sister in a minor role in the film ‘Leo’. Her involvement in ‘Benz’ further confirms the film’s connection to the LCU.
