TASMAC should manage schools and hospitals - R. Parthiban

  • IndiaGlitz, [Saturday,May 14 2016]

R. Parthiban apart from his satirical films and his tongue in cheek acting is also known for his social service and as an avid observer of current affairs. In a recent press meet the actor-director spoke about the importance of voting and in his usual humor laden style also gave many new ideas.

One of the ideas that Parthiban put out is instead of political parties vying with each other for liqor prohibition the Rs.30,000crore generating TASMAC money could be allotted to schools and colleges to give free education and to hospitals to give free medical aid. Even though this sounds highly implausible it does give one food for thought.
