Raashi Khanna will be seen as Dhanush's pair in the upcoming release 'Thiru', which hits the screens on Aug 18. At the film's event in Chennai on Saturday, the multi-lingual actress was all praise for Dhanush.

"Dhanush is so hardworking. During the shoot, I saw him working two shifts. He is super-human. He doesn't sleep," she said, adding that Anirudh Ravichander is her favourite composer.

The actress, answering rapid-fire questions by the anchor, said, "Dogs are my favourite pets. Saree is my favourite dress. Favourite colour is yellow. Chocolate flavour is my favourite ice-cream."

Raashi has got a glamorous role in 'Thiru'. Nithya Menen is her female co-star in the film. Also starring Priya Bhavani Shankar in a less important role, 'Thiru' has veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja as the male lead's grandfather and Prakash Raj as his father.

Raashi's most recent Telugu release is 'Thank You'. Starring Naga Chaitanya as the hero and directed by Vikram K Kumar, the film is streaming currently on Amazon Prime Video.
