Album is an ace gurram

Thaman delivers an ace.  'Race Gurram' was an audio which was expected to be snazzy and appealing to the masses at once.  It fairly lives up to the expectations.

The lyricists add spice to the variety offered by Thaman in terms of a range of singers.

Artists: Siddhartha Mahadevan, Rabbit Mac
Lyricist: Varikuppala Yadagiri

The song follows a unique lyrical path.  Yadagiri peppers his irreverent style of song-writing with colloquial Telugu.  The vocals rendered by Siddhartha Mahadevan and Rabbit Mac are immensely Thaman-esque.  Although the vocals are understated, they give Allu Arjun the perfect setting to do another Boom-Boom performance as he did in `Iddarammayilatho.'

Race Gurram

Artists: Usha Uttup, MM Manasi, MM Monisha
Lyricist: Varikuppala Yadagiri

The song has the potential to raise the roof when it is playing in the theatre.  Usha Uttup is at her usual rollicking best.  Her vocals have always been used innovatively by so many music directors and Thaman joins this leaque.  Yadagiri's lyrics are entertaining.  A perfect billing for a title song.

Cinema Choopistha

Artists: Simha, Varikuppala Yadagiri
Lyricist: Varikuppala Yadagiri

A song that has a rustic feel to it and bordering on item song has now been an inevitable ingredient of Arjun's movies.  Cinema Choopistha might have been picturized as a lungi dance, with Arjun doing another Topu Lechipoddi, if you would.  Yadagiri spices up Thaman's not-so-catchy tune with his massy lines.  Simha and Yadagiri deliver a good output as singers.

Boochade Boochade

Artists: Shreya Ghoshal, Rahul Nambiar, Naveen Madhav
Lyricist: Chandrabose

Thaman gives ample scope for Arjun to do all kinds of dances, so to speak.  Shreya Ghoshal's vocals are a big plus, while Chandrabose's lyrics are laced with English words that rhyme and ring in our mind.  Rahul Nambiar and Naveen Madhav add the essential icing on the cake.

Down Down

Artists: Thaman, Shruthi Hassan
Lyricist: Vishwa

The song is full of those Bollywoodish beats.  Thaman with his unremarkable nasal twang is at his usual mediocre self.  Shruthi Hassan is hardly memorable.  Vishwa's lyrics elude us as much as the mysteries of the 'vishwa' we live in!

Gala Gala

Artists: Dinesh Kanagaratnam, Mega
Lyricist: Rehmann

'Gala Gala' is an entertaining number with influences of AR Rehman of 'Boys' days.  Dinesh Kanagaratnam and Mega deliver a dekko, they actually come across as Rehman's finds.  Rehman the lyricist writes good lines.  Overall, it's a song that makes some impact.
