Racha has been awarded U/A by the Censor Board. The film underwent the mandatory censor formalities yesterday. The film is set to hit the screens on the 5th. In Tamil, it is releasing as Ragalai.

With the film having high expectations around it, Raccha is expected to rake in big time openings. RB Chowdhary has been quoted as saying that the film is a full length commercial entertainer with the sole purpose of just providing entertainment to the viewers especially the young audience.

With this film, Charan expects to widen his popularity base in Tamil Nadu. Parthepan, a seasoned Tamil actor, is playing a key role. The film has been jointly produced by N. V. Prasad and Paras Jain on Super Good Movies.
