Racha

Thursday, April 5, 2012 • తెలుగు Comments

Having tasted his first flop in the form of Orange, Ram Charan is understandably guarded in his moves.  He knew that he should not make hasty moves.  That's why he ruminated for good time and promoted Sampath Nandi's Racha and relegated Dharani's Merupu.

Racha, for reasons unknown, comes across like a potential winner.  Its director does not have an impressive track record going with him.  In fact, his debut film, Yemaindi Ee Vela, was a BO dud.

What makes Raccha so special?  The film is said to have an interesting premise and the very presence of Cherry and Tamanna, now hailed as an actress of mettle post-Oosaravelli, an ensemble cast comprising of Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi and Ajmal of Rangam fame goes good for the much-awaited Shiv Ratri release of 2012.

Cherry says that he is excited to work with the inventive Parachuri Brothers, who are writing the film.  Mani Sharma's music would be an added attraction.

If cinematography is by Sameer Reddy and choreography is by Raju Sundaram and Shobi, the sights and sounds of Ceylon, China and Bangkok are expected to make Raccha a visual special.

If this film scorches the BO, they would call Ram Charan after Ra-Cha, quite fittingly!
