Actor and director Raghava Lawrence who had last directed the movie Kanchana 3 in Tamil and is awaiting the release of his debut Bollywood movie Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar, is also well known for his philanthropic activities, and now has opened up about entering politics.
Lawrence has said that it is necessary to enter politics and get a position to serve people and service to society can be done without any expectation. He posted a note which read “Politics- I always believe that more than telling that I will come to politics to gain a position and promise to do this and that for the poor people and waste time, it’s better to stay silent and serve for the society without any expectation. The video posted before is the proof of my 12 years effort and belief. You can see that their dreams have come true. Including this child, 200 other children are studying. It’s also possible to do this without entering politics. Service is god.”
Raghava Lawrence also posted a video of a child who is studying supported by Raghava Lawrence’s charitable trust and had recently cleared 12th standard. The girl who happens to be the daughter of differently-abled parents said that it Lawrence had help her get education educated.
