Actor, choreographer, and philanthropist Raghava Lawrence has made a heartwarming announcement alongside the progress of his much-awaited film Kanchana 4. While updating fans that the film’s shoot is halfway through, Lawrence revealed that he is using the advance payment from the project to fund a noble cause transforming his very first home into a free school for underprivileged children.

Sharing the news on social media, Lawrence expressed how deeply personal this initiative is. “This house is very special to me. It was the first home I bought with my savings as a dance master. Later, I converted it into an orphanage kids’ home, while my family and I shifted to a rented place. Today, the children who grew up there are adults, working and standing on their own. I’m proud to dedicate this home once again to society,” he wrote.

What makes the project even more meaningful is that the first teacher of the school will be none other than one of the children who grew up in Lawrence’s home. “Seeing them come full circle from being nurtured here to now teaching and giving back fills me with pride,” Lawrence said.

Over the years, Lawrence has built a reputation not only as a successful actor-director in Tamil cinema but also as someone who consistently invests his film earnings into charitable projects. Each new film advance has seen him launch a fresh social initiative, from healthcare to education.

With Kanchana 4 in the works and this new school project underway, Lawrence once again proves that his commitment to giving back is as strong as his passion for cinema. He concluded his announcement by seeking blessings and continued support from fans.
