A group of Tamil families have been stuck in Gujarat and have posted a video appealing the Tamil Nadu government to facilitate their return to the home state as the women and children are suffering without food. The group had obviously gone North to work in the construction field and have been without jobs for the past two months since the COVID 19 lockdown.
Raghava Lawrence has shared the video and has made appeals to the governments of Tamil Nadu and Gujarat to help them and has also offered his own help. He has written "It’s really painful to see our people are stuck & need help to reach I request @CMOGuj @CollectorRjt @CP_RajkotCity @CMOTamilNadu @chennaicorp to do the needful & help them to reach safely asap sir"
