Rahul Gandhi on Maoist attack: 'It was a poorly designed operation'

It's known that Maoists ambushed and killed 22 CRPF jawans on Sunday in Chattisgarh's Bijapur. There has been a talk of intelligence failure, with the CM of Chattisgarh himself ruling out such a thing.

Reacting to the CPRF chief saying that there was no intelligence failure, Rahul Gandhi on Monday reacted with a strong tweet: If there was no intelligence failure then a 1:1 death ratio means it was a poorly designed and incompetently executed operation. Our Jawans are not cannon fodder to be martyred at will (sic), he wrote.

On Sunday, soon after the Maoist attack, the former Congress president, condoled the demise of the soldiers said that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in combat in Chhattisgarh. Decisive action needs to be taken to locate and rescue the missing Jawans. I appeal to the State Government to ensure the best care for a speedy recovery of the injured, RaGa added.

Meanwhile, the BJP has accused RaGa of indulging in vulture politics. Will you tell the Nation why #Naxals grow stronger whenever Congress is in power? Will you explain to Indians what is the relationship of CONgress with the #UrbanNaxals? Will you stop indulging in Vulture Politics when Our Jawans have been martyred? the official handle of the Karnataka BJP wrote.
