Seven individuals who were the accused in Rajiv Gandhi murder case have been spending over 25 years in prison. Perarivalan’s mother Arputham Ammal has been fighting hard for his release. Meanwhile the word is that Rahul Gandhi has opined about the same to director Ranjith when the duo met.

According to reports Rajiv Gandhi told Rajinth that the Congress family had no objections as to releasing Perarivalan from prison. Sure this must come off as a happy news to Arputham Ammal and all those who are striving for the release of Perarivalan.
