Raiinikanth's birthday suffers with his friend's passing

Superstar Rajinikanth's birthday has sparked celebration across the country. The actor turns 63 today and has seen much fanfare in the week leading to the special date 12.12.12, including the release of his film Sivaji in 3D, along with several other important events taking place.
However, it appears that the actor himself has been dealt a blow in a form of bad news. Reports have suggested that a close friend of Rajini, Gandhi who had been working in the AG office passed away today and has left the Superstar in shock. Gandhi happens to be a close friend of Rajini, which includes the likes of Raj Bahadur, Natraj and Vittal. The news has resulted in the actor losing interest in his birthday parties and wanting to leave Chennai to Bangalore in the last rites of his close friend.
Who would have thought our man would face such an issue on his special day?
