Raj Tarun is high on hope this time

Raj Tarun has had unending box-office miseries. Before 'Lover', his flops included 'Andhhagadu', 'Rangula Raatnam' and 'Raju Gadu'.

This Christmas, however, the actor is running high on hope. 'Iddari Lokam Okate', produced by Dil Raju, is set to hit the screens on December 25. Industry insiders have it that the film is a sensible romantic drama with some profoundly heart-touching moments. Shalini Pandey of 'Arjun Reddy' fame may just have given her career's second-best performance since her first movie.

Director GR Krishna has packed all the soul of the movie in the last 30 minutes, we learn. Raj Tarun has tried some Naga Chaitanya-type softness here, like in a Gautham Menon movie. Can this film help him resuscitate his sagging career? If you are superstitious, you will say a big 'Yes'. Because 'Uyyala Jampala' too was released on December 25.
