Renowned character artist and celebrity manager Raja Ravindra, known for his versatile performances across cinema, television, and OTT platforms spanning over three decades, steps into a lead role in the upcoming family drama "Sarangadariya." Directed by Padmarao Abbisetti (also known as Pandu), the film is produced by Umadevi and Sarat Chandra Challapalli under the Saija Creations banner.

The film's teaser, unveiled by the talented actor Sree Vishnu, promises a touching family drama that delves into the struggles of a middle-aged man striving for respectability in the face of familial challenges and societal criticism. Joining Raja Ravindra in the cast are Srikanth Iyengar, Siva Chandu, Yashaswini, Moin, Mohit, Neela Priya, Kadambari Kiran, Manik Reddy, Anantha Babu, Vijayamma, and Harshavardhan. V V S Vinay Kotti crafts the dialogues for the drama, while M Ebenezer Paul composes the music.

Rakesh Reddy serves as the editor, and Arunachala Mahesh takes on the role of executive producer, while Siddhartha Swayambhoo handles the cinematography. Raja Ravindra's recent notable appearances include roles in films like "Ramabanam," "Mr. Pregnant," "Month of Madhu," "Ammu," "Oh Baby," "Evaru," "Acharya," and "DJ Tillu." He has also made his mark in popular Tamil films such as "Padayappa," "Nattamai," and "Thozha," and ventured into Kannada cinema as well.

"Sarangadariya," helmed by Padmarao Abbisetti in his directorial debut, is currently in post-production, with a planned release in May.
