Rajanna's makers can't thank you enough

At the success meet of Rajanna, held on Dec. 25 in Hyderabad, Vijayendra Prasad, MM Keeravani, Rajamouli, not to forget, Nagarjuna, could not thank the audience enough for making Rajanna a super hit.

Nag, expressing satisfaction at having produced and acted in the film, said, I can't appreciate my director enough. Even at the time of narrating the story, he had planned how the dialogues and songs would be. He later narrated the story to Rajamouli; since Rajamouli is a fresh talent, he could shoot some scenes so wonderfully. I was astonished at the sharpness of Vijayendra Prasad at this age (he is 70). Keeravani's tunes came out really well.

The actor, who is not usually given to emotional words, said that he was indebted to Keeravani. Citing the examples of Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Rajanna, he praised the contribution of the celebrated musician in making these films memorable hits.

He showered plaudits on Baby Annie (Mallamma in the film) as well. It is surprising how such a kid could get the dialogue delivery and expression alright. She has a great future ahead.” Art director Ravi, RR Movie Makers' Venkat (for publicity), also were praised by Nag.

I narrated the story to Nagarjuna garu because I always knew that only he would fit the bill. He would not come out of the impact of the scene for several minutes after the shot was over. I could sense that Rajanna would be a super duper hit, Vijayendra said, also hailing Annie as the soul of the film.

Keeravani wondered if Annie was born just for the sake of essaying the role. Her acting in sentimental scenes was very realistic. Gijigadu number is my personal favourite. I also like Suddala Ashok Teja's Veyi Veyi song, MM averred.

Annie said that she never expected that Rajanna would bring her so much fame. I thank everyone for giving me this opportunity. Amma Avani song is my personal favourite. I thank everyone for making this film a super hit, the baby said.
