Rajendra Prasad headlines Aha's crime drama 'Senapathi'

'Senapathi' is the title of a gripping crime drama starring Rajendra Prasad. For the 'Gaali Sampath' actor, this one marks his OTT debut. Aha is going to stream it in the near future.
Helmed by Pavan Sadineni of 'Prema Ishq Kaadhal' fame, the soon-to-be-released web show is produced by Sushmitha Konidela (Chiranjeevi's daughter) and Vishnu Prasad, both of whom run Gold Box Entertainments.
Talking about the cast of the web show, the makers said that they are happy to have roped in talented artists such as Naresh Agastya, Gnaneswari Kandregula, Harshavardhan and Rakendu Mouli. The last of these is also the show's dialogue writer.
A motion poster of 'Senapathi' is out and it has the central character talking about his seven sons, who go out fishing. The motion poster has been designed like a jigsaw puzzle that comes together to introduce the male protagonist's raw, realistic look, the makers said. We see a gun, which suggests that the crime drama has got some gore in it.
Touted to be a power-packed narrative, 'Senapathi' has got Rajendra Prasad in an out-and-out serious role. Written by Hussain Sha Kiran, Vasant Jurru and Pavan Sadineni, the film has music by Shravan Bharadwaj and cinematography by Vivek Kalepu.
