Rajendra's Onamalu on June 22

Here is an offbeat film for those wanting cerebral entertainment. Rajendra Prasad's next film is set to release on June 22. Titled as Onamalu, the film is directed by debutante Kranthi Madhav.

The film is feel-good, going by the tag line, Manchi gnapakam lanti cinema. Rajendra will be seen as a retired teacher in this film, which sees him paired with Kalyani. Having seen her opposite the likes of Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu, it might be unsettling to watch her opposite the veteran actor. Wonder how the director could handled the challenge.

Koti is the music director. Dialogues are by Kadhir Babu. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry's lyrics are rich in poetic flavour.

In the recent days, SPB-K Vishwanath's Devasthanam went unnoticed despite its good thematic value. It is to be seen if Onamalu will be bailed out by Rajendra's image.
