Having got a Nandi Award for Best Actress in Negative Role category, Lakshmi Manchu is on a cloud nine. If this is a big achievement for actress Lakshmi, producer Lakshmi has a reason to smile too.

Rajinikanth, the Superstar, has patted her back for choosing a subject like Gundello Godari to produce a film. This Kumar Nagendra directed film is currently undergoing RR in Chennai under the aegis of Maestro Illayaraja.

Rajini visited the studio and learnt about the film's subject first hand from Lakshmi herself. He was impressed with the novelty of the subject and congratulated the entire team of the film. Starring Tapsee Pannu, Adi Pinisetty and Sundeep Kishan, the film sees Lakshmi herself in a key role.

Reacting to Rajini's appreciation, Lakshmi said, It makes me happy that Rajini uncle has lauded our film. We are sure about our success.
