Rajinikanth, Ajith make donation to TN CM's fund

The other day, Suriya, Karthi and their father Sivakumar donated Rs 1 Cr to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Today, two other Kollywood stars have made a donation.
Superstar Rajinikanth has donated Rs 1 Cr to the TN CM Relief Fund towards covid relief. It's learned that Soundarya Rajinikanth gave a cheque in person to TN CM MK Stalin. Yesterday, the 'Annaatthe' actor received his second jab of coronavirus vaccine. He is now fully vaccinated.
The other actor who made a donation today was Ajith. He made an online transfer of Rs 25 lakh to the CMRF. Early reports said that the donation was Rs 2.5 Cr. But it was a typo by media houses.
Tamil actors and producers are waiting for the release of some of the biggest movies in theatres once the situation is back to normal.
