Big Breaking update from Shankar on '2.0' release

Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' is one of the mammoth projects that the entire film fraternity has been waiting to watch. The film went on floor sin 2016 and was supposed to release for last Diwali. However the excessive VFX works meant that the film had to be delayed many times.
Now Shankar the master of mega budget blockbusters has finally given a much good news to cherish amid rumors that the film will release only in 2019. Shankar has just tweeted that '2.0' will be hitting the screens on November 29, 2018.
Lyca Productions which is bankrolling this mammoth project has also confirmed the same in a separate tweet. This means '2.0' will hit the screens after the Diwali 2018 festival releases. Vijay's 'Sarkar' and Suriya's 'NGK' are expected to release for Diwali which falls on November 6, 2018. So the Thalaivar film towards the end of the month will be a dual Diwali for Tamil film buffs.
'2.0' stars Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. A.R.Rahman is providing music score while Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography. The film is the sequel to the 2010 Rajini-Shankar blockbuster 'Enthiran'.
