Official Clarification on Rajinikanth acting in Bhaskar The Rascal Remake

Yesterday there were news reports suggesting that Superstar Rajinikanth will be acting in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Bhaskar the Rascal'. The film's director Siddique had stated in his recent interview to a Malayalam magazine that Superstar Rajinikanth will be reprising the role played by Mammootty in the original.

However now the Riaz Ahmed, the PRO of the Superstar has denied the claim as untrue. His tweet says "News spreading in Media about Superstar (Rajinikanth) doing 'Bhaskar The Rascal' remake in Tamil is untrue.".

Rajinikanth has just finished shooting for 'Kabali' and is presently concentrating on '2.0' directed by Shankar. Sources close to the actor reveal that he will decide on his next film only after finishing these two films in hand.

We will have to wait and watch the turn of events.
