Actor Ajith Kumar was recently awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan by the Central Government, alongside other film personalities such as Telugu actor NTR Balakrishna and actress Shobana.

Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth, who had been busy shooting for his upcoming film Coolie, returned to Chennai after completing a schedule. When reporters at the Chennai airport asked him about his thoughts on Ajith receiving the Padma Bhushan, Rajinikanth warmly responded, "My congratulations to Ajith."

Rajinikanth also briefly commented that the shooting of Coolie was progressing well before heading off.

The film Coolie is reportedly nearing its final stages of production, with the shoot expected to wrap up soon. Following this, Rajinikanth is set to begin work on Jailer 2, directed by Nelson. Fans are eagerly awaiting both projects, while Ajith’s Padma Bhushan recognition continues to garner widespread celebration.
