Rajinikanth is described in popular culture as a man who lives a spartan lifestyle. Simple living and high thinking are attributed to him. But, as the superstar himself suggests, he actually leads a luxurious life.
In a recent interview, this is what the legendary actor said: I live in Poes Garden (an upscale locality in Chennai) and travel in a BMW car. I stay in 5-star, 7-star hotels. How can you call it simplicity?”
This is nothing but brutal honesty. The actor has stepped into politics and such statements assume special significance all the more.
He awaits the release of '2.0' on November 29, and 'Petta' in early 2019.
