Actor Upendra recently shared his excitement about acting alongside superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Coolie. Following the success of Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth is teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for this much-anticipated film. The movie also stars major actors like Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Sowbin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan. Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

While promoting his new film 45, Upendra spoke to the media about his role in Coolie. He shared, “When director Lokesh Kanagaraj began narrating the story, I told him it's enough for me to just stand next to Rajinikanth sir. I see him as my Dronacharya and myself as Ekalavya – I follow him with that level of admiration. Being part of a film with him is a blessing.”

He added, “The combination scenes in Coolie with me, Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Aamir Khan will be explosive in theatres. Having top stars from four different languages in one frame is going to be mind-blowing. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch this moment on screen.” With this, it is confirmed that Aamir Khan is part of the film.
