Rajkumar Hirani Convinces Aamir Khan For This?

After going to enthrall us with Vijay Krishna Acharya’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ this year, the perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan is all set to produce a biopic on the late music moghul, Gulshan Kumar who was shot dead by the underworld in 1997. Khan’s production house and T-Series are said to have collaborated for the untitled film.

Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the biopic will go on floors in the early next year and is expected to release on Christmas 2019. Confirming the same, T-Series have tweeted, “#AamirKhanProduction & T-Series are happy to announce Christmas 2019 as the release date for the biopic on #GulshanKumar, written and directed by @subkapoor. Filming to begin early next year.”

Reports are doing round that the ‘Sanju’ director Rajkumar Hirani had convinced Aamir to produce the biopic. They share an amazing rapport of delivering good stories. During the post-production works of ‘Sanju’, the director came across Gulshanji’s biopic script and contacted Khan to go through the script. He was super –impressed with it and decided to co-produce it.

"Actually when the script was drafted, Bhushan Kumar wanted to run it past Rajkumar Hirani for any inputs from him. Though Hirani was busy with the post production of Sanju, he took out time and made sure to go through the script and what he saw impressed him. So much so that he wanted Aamir also to read it. As Aamir and Hirani have had a great working relationship and shared quite a knack for storytelling, Aamir got his hands on the script and liked it."

Rumors are rife that Aamir will be seen essaying the role of the music moghul! But there are no official statement regarding this!
