The upcoming comedy drama 'Badhaai Do' starring Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar went on floors on Tuesday. Rajkumar, who is known for his off beat films and Bhumi, who has impressed audience with daring roles will pair up for the first time for this project. While sharing photos from the first day on set, both the lead actors wrote "Shuru ho gai hai hamari kahani, Jahan hai dono Raja aur Rani, Shardul Aur Sumi hai ekdam pyaare, Yeh dono hai situation ke maare, Milenge hum aapse jald, Ho jayega tab sab clear aur tab hum kahengey, #BadhaaiDo #2021"

'Badhaai Do' is the follow up of 2018 National Award Winner 'Badhaai Ho' which starred Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta as a middle aged couple who unexpectedly get pregnant. In 'Badhaai Do', Rajkumar is speculated to play a Delhi Cop while Bhumi will play a PT teacher.

The film will be directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni.
